Poisoned Hestia is an independent alternative rock band from Germany, originally formed in 1991 under the moniker 13th Floor. Their sound draws from the dark undercurrents of late-80s subculture: Gothic Rock, Heavy Metal, Post-Punk, Wave, and Industrial.
The band quickly built a loyal following in the local underground scene through intense live shows, sold-out club gigs, and appearances at regional festivals. After a split and a short-lived reformation, the band went silent in 1995, having never officially released any of its original material.
In 2019, the original core members reunited and finally unleashed their long-awaited debut album, SUBTLE SEDUCTION. The record brought together songs from the band's early years and new material in a powerful studio production.
Before the arrival of their second full-length album, ALL THE WAY DOWN in 2022, Poisoned Hestia released FAR BEYOND, a remix compilation revisiting tracks from their debut, as well as THE HORROR SERIES — a collection of singles accompanied by gloomy video clips.
In 2024, Poisoned Hestia extended the descent begun on the preceding album with FURTHER DOWN — four tracks of self-proclaimed "Damnation Rock 'n' Roll" that explore the dismal depths of the human soul, while the video for the unholy SOUTH OF HERE leads viewers straight into the deepest corners of hell.
Now, Poisoned Hestia have vanished once more into the shadows of the studio, forging their third full-length album. Expected to rise from the depths in early 2027, the next chapter is already taking shape in the darkness.
